This course will cover everything needed to receive your ACLS Certification:

American Heart Association's ACLS Online Course

 

This is an American Heart Association online ACLS course. You will receive a key code and instructions on how to access the program via email within 24-48 hours. You will then be able to complete the course at your own pace. After completion of the course, print out the completion certificate and contact us to schedule your skills check (not a pass/fail test). You will receive your certification the day of your skills check. There are no additional fees required to receive your certification, it's all included in the original price.

Basic Arrhythmia Recognition and Pharmacology  

 

This course is designed for healthcare professionals who have had prior experience in EKG recognition and treatment and are looking to review basic EKG rhythm recognition and updated pharmacology information for medical emergencies in reference to ACLS and PALS treatment modalities.

 

This course is delivered in a hybrid format with students:

  1. Completing an online portion. 
  2. Scheduling and coming in for a two-hour lecture and review.

 

Scheduling an appointment is required. Walk-ins are not accepted. 

Scheduling is available twice a month, Wednesday mornings. 

Students will receive a completion certificate approved by the BRN for 8 continuing education hours at the end of the course.

 

American Heart Association's BLS Course

 

This Basic Life Support (BLS) course is designed for those who work in a hospital or clinical setting. It is a CPR course that is required by all hospitals and clinical organizations.

 

  • NO CURRENT CARD REQUIRED.
  • PASS OR CLASS RETAKE IS FREE.
  • PLEASE CHOOSE THE INITIAL OPTION IF YOU HAVE NEVER TAKEN THIS COURSE BEFORE.

Critical Care Nursing Course Fontana 

This course provides the student with comprehensive instructions related to the care of adult critical care patients.

Course Length and Format:

The Critical Care Nursing Course is broken into two parts:

  1. Students will complete course work through weekly online assignments for the first 5 weeks.
  2. On the sixth week Students will come in for two 8-hour traditional in-class instruction sessions to prepare for course completion, cover skills, and receive the final exam.

 

The textbook is included in the course and is accessed via the learning management system. It is strongly recommended that you have access to WIFI and a computer or tablet to access the required reading assignments. The first day listed is the start of the course (you will receive your enrollment information on this date).  You are not required to be in class on the first date but are required to attend the second and third session. 

 

Be advised that you must have completed the online portion prior to attending the in-class sessions. Failure to do so will result in immediate failure of the course. NO exceptions are made to this policy.

 

You can reserve your seat in the course for a $100 deposit on the payment page.

 

Full payment is required by the start date of the course.

The NRP Provider Course introduces the concepts and basic skills of neonatal resuscitation. It is designed for health care professionals involved in any aspect of neonatal resuscitation, including physicians, nurses, advanced practice nurses, nurse midwives, licensed midwives, respiratory care practitioners, and other health care professionals who provide direct care during neonatal resuscitation.

 

This class is a two part process:

The Adult and Pediatric First Aid course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age - adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 years of age). Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid valid for two years.

 

ADULT AND PEDIATRIC CPR

The American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age - adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 years of age). Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED valid for two years.
