1. You complete the online portion before the scheduled skills check portion.
2. You come in to our facility to complete the skills check portion and recieve your certificate.
You will also receive Continuing Education contact hours for this course from the Board of Registered Nurses (BRN).

- Identifying factors that may contribute to workplace violence
- Improve factors to prevent workplace violence
- Recognizing requirements for temporary personnel workplace violence prevention
- How to respond to potential violence or violent incidents
- Identifying when to seek assistance
- Discuss when to seek resources and reporting incidents according to your follow policy and procedure at your facility, including firearm or dangerous weapon or emergent threats
- Discuss activation of response team occur
- Discuss process of debriefing after a violent or potential for violent crisis event to identify improvement and prevention of events of violence
- Recognizing resources provided to team members after experiencing an event of violence in the workplace
